Dr. Patricia Brieva

Patricia holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University, where her doctoral and post-doctoral research focused on continuous process optimization and nanotechnology, leading to publications and contributions to academic books.

In 2009, Dr. Brieva commenced her work at L'Oréal R&I, where she actively contributed to upstream projects focused on creating global skincare technologies. Teamwork contributed to 17 patented skincare technologies and being recognized with the Chemical Society Young Investigator's Award, particularly for her professional chemical peel developments. Over her 16-year tenure at L'Oréal, Patricia has been the development of over 50 skincare products. She shares her expertise by lecturing graduate students in Dermatological and Cosmetic Chemistry as well as supported interns, providing them with insights into the intricate world of product development.

In 2022, Patricia transitioned to lead SkinCeuticals Global Medical Affairs. In this role, she leverages her knowledge along with collaboration with top global aesthetic leaders for future innovations and clinicals. Her focus along with the scientific village behind the brand involves leading Skinceuticals advances in aesthetic science, develop robust and inclusive clinical trials in partnership with clinical research organizations and healthcare professionals. The scientific and clinical achievements from their work are frequently featured and disseminated in accepted peer-reviewed publications and presented at scientific conferences.

Dr. Xi Yan

Dr. Xi Yan, Director of SkinCeuticals Global Medical Relations, received a Ph.D. from Cornell University and an M.D. from School of Medicine at Jinan University. Dr. Yan brings over 10 years of industry experience in clinical research and medical affairs dedicated to skin and hair health. She drives scientific innovation, guiding product development, fostering scientific breakthroughs, and ensuring the integrity of clinical research. Her expertise has fueled the success of multiple award-winning products, advanced several patent applications, facilitated insightful key opinion leader presentations, and contributed to over 25 peer-reviewed scientific assets.

Dr. Yan has published articles in Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, Journal of Dermatological Treatment, Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Journal of Cosmetic Science, etc. She has also published peer-reviewed posters in The World Congress of Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatology, IMCAS World Congress, European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, and International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists.

Gretchen Wobensmith

Gretchen Wobensmith, a seasoned licensed aesthetician and massage therapist, brings nearly three decades of experience to her role. For the past 20 years, she has cultivated her professional training acumen with leading global brands, and now applies this extensive expertise directly to the SkinCeuticals Global Education Team. In her vital role, Gretchen expertly manages SkinCeuticals Professional Development programs, empowering our valued brand partners. Her unwavering dedication lies in mentoring skincare professionals, actively elevating their knowledge and skill set within the dynamic medical skincare industry

Breanna Brown

Breanna, a licensed esthetician, certified laser technician, and cosmetic scientist, brings 8 years of experience achieving outstanding patient results and developing impactful training programs for medical aesthetic providers. A sought-after speaker and published author in aesthetics, her expertise is further strengthened by her pursuit of a Masters in Business and Personal Care Science.

Hina Choudhary, PharmD

Hina Choudhary, PharmD is Director of Medical Communications on the SkinCeuticals Global Medical Relations team. She graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has over 14 years of experience in global medical affairs. She currently leads medical communications strategy with a focus on amplifying peer-reviewed clinical content, academic research collaborations, and digital activations including webinars and podcasts liaising with experts in the dermatology field.
